How to Sanctify Items in Diablo 4
Sanctification is unlocked in two phases, depending on Diablo 4 Items your progression: pre-Torment and post-Torment.
1. Pre-Torment: Early Access via Heavenly Anvil
Before reaching Torment difficulty, Sanctification can only be accessed through the Heavenly Anvil, which appears after defeating a Lesser Evil during specific activities-most notably Helltide events.

2. Post-Torment: Full Access Through Heavenly Sigils
Once you enter Torment difficulty, you gain reliable and repeatable access to Sanctification via Heavenly Sigils, a new seasonal currency.
Heavenly Sigils drop from:
Seasonal bosses (Astraroth, Belial, Bartok, etc.)
Seasonal endgame content
Seasonal event rewards
Seasonal endgame content
Seasonal event rewards
These Sigils allow you to sanctify gear as part of the regular crafting loop. Stockpiling Diablo 4 materials ahead of Buy Diablo 4 materials time can help streamline this process.
