In ARC Raiders Items, getting your hands on the best gear can make the difference between scraping by and dominating the battlefield. Most loot drops are down to luck, but there’s one spot that flips the odds in your favour — the Subterranean Vault. Players call it the Vault Run, and for good reason. It’s the fastest, most reliable way to grab high-tier weapons, rare armour and a healthy stash of Fuel Rods. It’s not a walk in the park though. You’ll need to prep your loadout, get your squad on the same page, and be ready for a fight from start to finish.

Before you even think about heading there, you’re gonna need a Decrypted ARC Keycard. These only drop from ARC Warden units, which are basically walking tanks. You’ll usually find them guarding big loot areas or extraction points. Taking one down isn’t something you do with starter gear — you’ll want at least blue-tier weapons and armour before you try. Once you’ve got the keycard, the next step is finding the vault itself, which is tucked away in a place most players run past without realising.

The entrance isn’t marked on your map. You’ll have to head to the Tenebris Sector and look for the wreck of the capital ship. Make your way into the busted-up engine room. Behind a pile of collapsed metal, you’ll spot a heavy blast door with a keycard scanner. That’s your way in. Watch out though — this area’s crawling with ARC patrols, and they hit harder than the usual mobs. Once you swipe the keycard, things get messy fast. The door opens, alarms go off, and you’re straight into a narrow corridor lined with turrets and drones. Move quick, use EMPs or heavy firepower to knock out the turrets, and have your squad focus the drones. Hang around too long and they’ll send in more.

Push through and you’ll hit the main chamber. In the centre is the vault core, with three reinforced loot crates around it. To unlock them, you’ll need to overload the power conduit via the console. The second you start, all hell breaks loose — elite ARC units pour in, and there’s almost always a Sentinel leading them. Survive the wave, clear the room, and the crates pop open. You’re guaranteed at least one purple-tier weapon or piece of gear from each, plus Fuel Rods and top-tier crafting mats. For anyone serious about gearing up, this run is hands-down the best use of your time.
